Design2Glass gives demonstrations to groups or organisations who are interested in finding out a little more about stained glass and some of the processes and materials involved in the assembly of a panel.
Demonstrations include:
- glass cutting
- assembly of a panel using lead came
- assembly of a suncatcher using copper foil
There is the opportunity to have a close look at lead came used in the assembly of leaded light panels and samples of some of the amazing glass available for the craftsman to use.
Typically demonstrations are 1 to 1 1/2 hours in duration, although Design2Glass are happy to tailor demonstrations to the requirements of the group or organisation.
At the end of each demonstration, a pre-made copy of the design seen assembled is presented to the group as a momento. The designed piece provides a potential for fundraising if it is raffled or auctioned amongst those present.
If you would like Design2Glass to give a demonstration to your group, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Bookings are being taken for 2010 – 2011.

Denise came to Cowbit Ladies Club in 2009 to demonstrate designing and making stained glass. She is a very good and interesting speaker and explained what she was doing at every stage of her demonstration – (The samples of glass etc that she brought with her were very colourful.)
I would recommend Denise to any group or club if they want an interesting and informative afternoon/evening.
